OUR STORY
We met in Barcelona - young, curious, and figuring things out. Denis had spent seven years in Dubai studying architecture and design before moving to Barcelona for a master’s at IAAC, a hub for fresh ideas and experimentation. Iva had just wrapped up a business degree in the UK and landed there more on instinct than a plan. We clicked instantly , drawn to the same things: good food, creative energy, beautiful spaces, and the Barcelona lifestyle.
BOLD started the way most good things do - casually. A “Why is this café layout so bad?” here, a “What if we designed it differently?” there. Those chats became daily debates, ideas, and eventually, projects.
Fast-forward: we moved to Bulgaria and turned that shared curiosity into something real. Interiors came first, then the BOLD Showroom, events, exhibitions, Bold Design Week… and a lot of learning by doing. Since 2018, we’ve built experience, a strong network, and a clear sense of what we do best.
Today, Denis leads the creative direction in interiors; Iva shapes the business side and brings her own touch to design. Together, we create spaces - physical and digital - that are personal, distinctive, and full of character.
BOLD is part love story, part creative experiment and fully the result of bold choices, lessons learned, and the kind of teamwork you only get when you live and work side by side.

IVA RADEVA
CO-FOUNDER
Iva started with a business degree in the UK, building a strong foundation in strategy and management, before moving to Barcelona to explore marketing, branding, and design. Alongside her work in interior design, she’s also a skilled UI/UX designer, creating clean, intuitive digital experiences.
At BOLD, she’s the link between creativity and execution - managing sales, logistics, and project coordination while staying closely involved in the design process. Whether in the physical or digital space, she knows how to make it work - and make it look good.
DENIS LI
CO-FOUNDER
Architect, designer, and creative lead. Denis began his journey at the American University in Dubai, then earned his master’s at IAAC Barcelona - where forward-thinking ideas met hands-on experimentation. Since then, he’s worked with top studios across Europe and the Middle East, sharpening his design eye and building a fearless approach to creating spaces.
With over 10 years of experience in residential, commercial, and public projects, Denis brings a multidisciplinary mindset to every stage - from first sketch to final detail. At BOLD, he wears many hats: architect, interior designer, project lead, creative director. Whatever the role, the goal is the same: spaces that are thoughtful, unexpected, and personal.
